Primarily work on updates in Workday, DocuSign, and HR Suite. Perform basic administrative office functions, including, but not limited to, hands-on support with customers, document sorting, mail distribution, complex data entry, and filing. Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service by assisting staff and applicants in person, on the phone, and by email. Screen and interview candidates for entry-level positions. Support the department by calling and scheduling interviews & new hire appointments. Assist with hiring of students and part-time staff and reviewing application materials, interview candidates and making hire recommendations. Attend recruiting and hiring events for student and part-time positions. Assist with onboarding a high volume of new hires and processing required employment paperwork. Assist with electronic communications and complex data entry through our HRIS & Ticket System. Assist with the collection and maintenance of metrics. Assist in records retention, database management, scanning, renaming & uploading personnel records and documentation. Work directly with Human Resources (HR) staff on HR related functions, tasks, projects, assignments & initiatives. Speak publicly and express ideas when assisting with and actively participating in staff trainings and meetings. Required Qualifications: College student in good academic standing. Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrates excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Reliability and Dependability. Experience using software such as Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Experience working in an office setting. Ability to multi-task and balance work and school. Demonstrate personal accountability, ability to learn from mistakes, and effective work habits, e.g., punctuality, working productively with others, and time workload management Compensation: $13.75 per hour Work Shift: We are located in the Kinsolving Building at 200 West Dean Keeton St., and our work shift hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Selected students will work with their supervisor to determine their work schedule, including hours and days worked. All scheduled shifts must be a minimum of three (3) hours in length. Working Conditions: May require work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of the keyboard at a workstation.
