Job Description Position Overview The Business Partner III for the Construction Business Unit is a strategic leader and trusted advisor who bridges the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. This role ensures that the Construction team has the digital tools, data, and systems needed to execute projects efficiently, safely, and on schedule. The Business Partner III will work closely with stakeholders in construction management, field operations, engineering, and procurement to define requirements, streamline processes, and drive digital transformation. Responsibilities Strategic Business Engagement Serve as the primary IT point of contact for the Construction leadership team and field operations. Understand key performance drivers, challenges, and operational workflows in project execution, EPC coordination, and site management. Identify opportunities to optimize construction processes with scalable and effective technology solutions. Solution Planning & Implementation Collaborate with platform owners, developers, and third-party vendors to evaluate, prioritize, and deliver construction-focused systems (e.g., field productivity tools, project controls, scheduling, and progress tracking). Drive enhancements in tools such as Primavera P6, document control systems, and mobile field applications. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving IT, engineering, supply chain, and project teams. Change Management & User Adoption Lead efforts to onboard construction teams onto new systems and features, ensuring high usability and adoption. Design and execute training strategies tailored to field users, site managers, and remote teams. Provide continuous feedback loops between business users and IT support/development teams. Data-Driven Execution Partner with analytics teams to define KPIs and dashboards that provide visibility into construction performance and risk. Promote integration of field data into enterprise systems to enable real-time insights and executive reporting. Innovation & Industry Alignment Stay informed on emerging construction technologies including drones, IoT sensors, AR/VR for safety/training, and digital twin platforms. Advocate for scalable digital tools that enhance field communication, safety compliance, materials tracking, and schedule adherence. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in IT, construction technology, or business analysis, including experience supporting capital projects or infrastructure delivery. Familiarity with utility-scale energy construction, including civil, electrical, and mechanical workstreams or similar experience. Demonstrated success delivering digital solutions in a fast-paced, field-centric environment. Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications MBA or MS in a related discipline. Experience with tools such as Procore, SharePoint, P6, Bluebeam, Autodesk, and mobile data capture platforms. #LI-ONSITE Base Pay $88,000.00 - $108,000.00 USD Annual Bonus: 20% - 30% The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills. In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
