To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com As a Business Systems Analyst on the Application Development team, youll be at the heart of the next-generation tools were building to transform CIBCs management capabilities and enable our banks continued growth. You are a part of a business technology team responsible for owning and executing delivery of custom solutions that are uniquely tailored to the business' needs. The role requires a solid understanding of business requirements documentation and Azure DevOps. This position will work closely with technical teams team in a highly collaborative manner to interface with the internal teams as well as key stakeholder groups. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days may be remote. How Youll Succeed Technical Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Jira to manage requirements, facilitate project management, and resolve issues efficiently. Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Elicit, document, and interpret business needs and challenges from multiple perspectives. Present findings and recommendations with a strategic focus, influencing project scope and outcomes to align with organizational objectives. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners to support effective systems integration. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand business objectives and functional requirements, and provide research-based responses to questions and concerns from managers and executives. Effective Communication: Develop clear and actionable requirements, write user stories, and design user interfaces for new functionality, ensuring deliverables are easily understood and actionable by the development team. Who You Are You can demonstrate 5+ years of experience in analytics and systems development with a high proficiency with SQL and database management and proven analytical abilities. You must have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Jira, Confluence, SharePoint and a strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications (Office 365). You have an experience in generating process documentation and reports. You have the ability to manage projects and user testing, are experienced with data visualization and technical writing. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights is required. You understand banking fundamentals. Exposure to risk management, capital stress testing, credit risk models, and regulatory compliance would be particularly relevant. You have a degree. This role has an expected salary range of $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 for the Chicago market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
