Ontics Creedmoor, NC, site is home to a number of specialist companies within the Ontic Group, including Firstmark, Twin Commander, and Metro Merlin. Our team is looking for a Quality Engineer to join them. You will report to the Quality Engineering Supervisor and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina. To be considered for the Quality Engineer opening, heres what youll need to bring with you: Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in aerospace quality engineering or a related field Strong understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards and FAA regulations Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality standards Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles and practices Demonstrated ability in problem solving tools such as: 8D, 5-Why, A3, Ishikawa Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must be highly competent in Microsoft based office and project tools Aerospace flight critical application experience preferred J-STD-001 knowledge/understanding preferred As a Quality Engineer, you will: Develop and implement quality standards for aerospace products and processes Develop and document quality procedures and work instructions Ensure that the company's products and processes meet all applicable standards and regulations Conduct inspections and audits of aerospace products and processes Resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken Work with other departments to ensure the company meets all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
