Job Title: Quality Systems Process Manager Reporting To: Director, AG Value Stream Quality Work Schedule: Onsite Buffalo, NY Quality Systems Process Manager This position will be responsible for integrating quality related processes throughout all Military Aircraft Group Value Streams. The Quality Systems Process Manager is responsible for ensuring the performance and effective execution of quality processes within each of the Military Aircraft Group sites. The Quality Systems Process Manager ensures quality solutions and initiatives are fully integrated and aligned with the Groups business objectives, priorities, strategies, and mission. Responsibilities: Coordinate across each of the Military Aircraft Group sites to ensure effective implementation of adherence to, and governance over quality processes Facilitate continuous improvement and sharing of lessons learned and/or best practices across Military Aircraft Group sites Monitor and report on performance of Quality KPIs, and coordinate with the sites on development of improvement plans Administer and manage Group level governance boards Lead and coordinate product integrity and/or yield investigations involving multiple sites Mentor and train other quality professionals on quality processes and tools Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business or engineering Minimum 5 years experience in a process improvement role with a proven track record of managing change initiatives Possess strong analytical abilities and be able to prioritize, coordinate, and manage complex operational issues and processes Ability to facilitate teams to execute improvement plans in alignment with the organizations objectives Ability to connect core processes with the appropriate systems, tools, and metrics to ensure compliance and effectiveness Must be able to influence all functions and levels within the organization that impact product and process quality Knowledge of business systems/processes as well as excellent communication and teambuilding skills Experience with problem solving and Root Cause/Corrective Action tools such as: 8D, A3, 5-why, Fishbone, Fault Tree, etc. Strong working knowledge and experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 quality standard requirements preferred Working experience with AS9145 or equivalent Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) preferred Requires access to US Export Controlled information. Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $85,000.00$131,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
