As our Operations Associate in the Business Efficiency Unit (BEU), you will help support our underpayment service line, resulting in better outcomes for our clients. Every day you will save medical documentation, check for hospital claim changes, review hospital patient accounting software for recent payments, add notes to hospital accounts, and assist with account follow up. Heres what you may experience working as an Operations Associate: Utilize technology to obtain work assignments and obtain necessary documentation (medical records, claims forms, itemized bills, account notes) and payment information from providers Manage dynamic work assignment queue according to SOPs and workflows: reviewing accounts and recommendations, add documentation to R1 software as needed, close out requests timely, efficiently, and correctly Maintain a private and secure remote work environment that meets R1's requirements with respect to HIPAA guidelines Required Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent Computer literacy, including the ability to navigate programs and retrieve documents and data Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills For this US-based position, the base pay range is $16.29 - $20.36 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
