Summary: In this role, you will research, assimilate and analyze detailed information to identify opportunities for standardization and cost reductions for 90+ health care facilities. You will have process knowledge relative to the healthcare materials and procurement process to aid in complex product analyses providing deeper analyses and concise documentation to support findings. You will work closely with sourcing and contracting teams, as well as other analysts to provide a combination of analytical expertise, project management, and contracting support. Responsibilities: Perform complex data analyses and research based on healthcare supply chain purchases to contract pricing in medical products and services to produce recommendations and identify opportunities for cost savings, standardization, and efficiencies. Own and be accountable for the successful execution of a key team function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering outcomes. Oversee end-to-end responsibility for this function, including strategy, execution, continuous improvement, and communication progress and impact to leadership and stakeholders. Influence decisions through advice and counsel to management and others. Present recommendations to management and provide guidance in selecting alternative options and new solutions. Demonstrate comprehension of operations and use data and analytics to support those. Support the delivery of customized analyses, leveraging internal and external, raw and/or published data, as well as structured and unstructured datasets. Interpret trends, regulatory changes and/or forecasts and anticipate impact for healthcare facilities. Coordinate the development and production of deliverables (i.e. analysis, presentations, reports, member assessments and case studies). Design and create charts, graphs, tables, and reports to support findings and develop recommendations. Qualifications: Relevant degree preferred. 5 or more years of relevant experience required. Strong analytics, database/spreadsheet, and leadership skills preferred. Strong project management, organizational skills and professional written and verbal communication skills preferred. Experience with Supply Chain data strongly preferred. Knowledge of computer skills and applications including, but not limited to, MS Office Applications such as Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to learn and teach others on internal databases and Platforms. Knowledge of hospital bid and contracting process and overall procurement functions preferred. Knowledge and experience working with the suppliers in the healthcare supply, capital, and purchase services market preferred. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
