Inventory Quality Sorter | Evansville, IN | Starting Pay $19.03 per hour We are seeking an Inventory Quality Sorter to support plant operations by evaluating inventory held for potential quality issues. This role involves sorting product using automated sorting equipment as well as manual inspection to determine the final disposition of both decorated metal plate and finished goods. What We Offer: Monday through Friday schedule Rate of pay begins $19.03/hour with an additional $1 per hour for second or third shift work Weekly pay Commitment to Safety: "Drive to Zero Injuries" Initiative What You'll Do: Sort and inspect inventory using a sorting machine and by hand, as required Determine disposition of product (ship or scrap) based on established quality standards Accurately complete required documentation and records Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all plant procedures, safety requirements, and company rules What We Need: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Ability to lift, load, and move cartons weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to work from platforms as needed Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching overhead, and repetitive motions About Silgan Closures: We are the largest metal food packaging producer in North America, committed to sustainability and innovation.
