BASIC PURPOSE: To load all the outbound orders into the designated tractor trailers in compliance with company procedures and standards. This makes sure the drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency for the days deliveries. Work Schedule: 4 Day Work Week > Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday 5:30 pm until complete Salary: $21.41/hour Must be Electric Pallet Jack certified - REQUIRED ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading. Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport. Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading. Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted. Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Related Experience: A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be Electric Pallet Jack certified - REQUIRED Good attention to detail Ability to read load diagrams Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must be team oriented and able to get along with others. WORK ENVIRONMENT Comfortable working in a multi-temperature indoor/outdoor environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $21.41/hour and $21.41/hour.
