The Alternate Title Specialist investigates titling issues using decision making and problem-solving skills to move vehicles through the pipeline to Auction. This involves networking across the country with our field operations for best practices and processes, staying up-to-date with legislative changes impacting the vehicle titling industry, and utilizing virtual multi-platform databases including government DMV/BMV third party sites. Responsibilities: Utilize decision making and problem solving skills to clear aged insurance claim vehicle inventory Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle title issues such as odometer discrepancies and power of attorney Understand and apply DMV laws, rules, and regulations related to insurance claim vehicles Identify, analyze, and process ownership documents in line with company and state transfer guidelines Perform administrative duties including data entry, follow ups, reporting, and document processing Required skills and experience High school diploma or GED preferred At least one year of office support experience in a customer service or sales role Title processing experience is a plus Strong customer service experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional phone etiquette Strong time management and organizational skills Solid work ethic and sound decision making ability Excellent communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Strong attention to detail with built in checks and balances Highly motivated with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Pay: $23.40 - $26.31/ Hour.
