What You Will Do A Damage Investigator will hold the responsibility of being the first line of defense in gathering all the facts while putting the data together to swing the pendulum of liability regarding damages. What You Will Earn Pays from $18hr to $25hr depending on experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review leak notifications in designated areas/ Call CNP techs on leaks for information on those leaks. Review the previous days reports with manager and overnight leaks ECT. Route any pending claims that have not been processed as necessary Sl and gas. Work pending streetlights until dig ups or leaks occur. Complete damage report while on site when possible. Create correctives for at fault damages so information can immediately get to our District managers and Field Supervisors to course correct techs. Close day out by completing all damage reports and send to managers inbox for review Subject to pre-employment background check and drug screen as well as random drug screens. Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude 3 years of locate/ Gas operations experience required. Efficient Time management (24hr or less turn around on all damage reports). Strong communication skills. Must have a positive attitude. Must be able to use a computer. Valid driver's license in the applicable state of employment. Must be able to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule. Work Schedule Monday through Friday full-time, with the possibility of weekend work when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, employees regularly: Drive 50 to 200+ miles daily as required by assigned geographic locating area. Stand and walk lengthy distances (4-6 miles) over uneven terrain. Sit for long periods of time while driving. Lift and/or move 50 pounds. Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
