Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite) Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java 8, Angular 8, Spring Boot, Apache Spark, MongoDB, MySQL, REST APIs, and messaging services such as Kafka. Basic knowledge of AWS and Azure SDKs is essential. This position requires working onsite at our UPC location. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Java 8 and J2EE fundamentals. Experience with Angular 8 and Spring Boot. Knowledge of Apache Spark, MongoDB, and MySQL. Proficient in developing and consuming REST APIs. Experience with messaging services like Kafka. Basic understanding of AWS SDK and Azure SDK. Good-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with Docker, IoT, and ETL tools. Basic knowledge of Linux. Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau. Knowledge of Azure IoT Hub and Azure Event Hub. Experience in integration testing. Desired Profile: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Expertise in at least two frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Struts. Experience with web services or JMS is advantageous. Excellent communication skills. Strong database skills, particularly in Oracle. Understanding of Agile development methodology is a plus. Ability to conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers. Commitment to delivering high-quality, defect-free projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members. Mentor and guide junior developers. Ensure project delivery aligns with the 'first time right' and 'zero defects' culture. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
