Full Job Description

Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join and lead a hard-working team of associates at our Garland TX location. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will ensure safety, quality and productivity metrics are met while leading various process improvement projects and participating in cross-functional teams on warehouse and network design initiatives. Whats in it For You: The ability to impact and shape your career with a company passionate about growth Access to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology Thrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture and has been recognized as one of the most ethical companies in the world Comprehensive benefits packages in line with market and industry standards What You Will Do: Lead a team of 10-20 , holding them accountable to savings and productivity standards Oversee logistics activities including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, order processing and customer service Partner with cross-functional teams in Quality, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing to proactively identify and resolve quality and service issues relating to logistics operations Assist in developing the site logistics budget with a focus on continuously improving year over year performance against metrics Coordinate operational redesign projects to improve performance and meet customer needs Monitor fixed assets and coordinate implementation of approved capital improvement projects in your functional areas Communicate standard logistics metrics to direct reports Resolve quality, service & cost issues Support oversight of inventory levels Additional Job Duties as assigned Position Details: This position is located at: 1600 South Jupiter Road Building No. 1B Garland, TX 75042 Work Week and Shift: 6am to 2pm (note, this person will be responsible for floating to 2nd shift to over other Leaders that may be out) Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree OR High School Diploma or equivalent/GED and 4 years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics or related environment 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment Immigration sponsorship not available for this role Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business or a related field of study Proficiency with SAP, MS Access, and Excel Previous project management experience Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to exercise independent judgement, think critically and work well in cross-functional teams About Ecolab A trusted partner at nearly three million customer locations spanning over 170 countries, Ecolab is the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services. Annual or Hourly Compensation Range The pay range for this position is $72,700.00 - $109,100.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
