Job Details: Shift C: Thursday - Sunday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Rotating schedules every 8 weeks Pay Range $22.90 - 32.75/hr If you are looking to make an impact in a meaningful way, join us at RVI Hanceville where we are raising the worlds expectations for how much good we can do! This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs Perform preventing maintenance Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment Minimize downtime due to equipment failure Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift Handle all mechanical problems that may arise Ensure work area is clean at all time Record keeping and attention to detail Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during shift Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping Frequent overhead work Basic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification Requirements: Must have 1 year of industrial maintenance experience. Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
