Full Job Description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Risk Reporting Senior Analyst for its Getzville, New York location. Duties: Implement advanced structured query language queries to provide transaction level and aggregate level reporting of market risk metrics including value at risk, stress value at risk, reconciliations, variance analysis, process exception reports, and key performance indicator reporting. Automate reports and processes within Tableau. Design, develop and deliver regular and time-sensitive market risk analytics, visualizations and reports to senior management and regulators while closely collaborating with risk managers. Drive process improvement opportunities incorporating User Acceptance Testing on Tableau that reduces the spell of the production process by half. Maintain data quality, limit excesses within systems, and escalate issues as necessary. Produce reports that outline findings for market risk management. Evaluate and propose solutions to redundancies and inefficiencies across business areas. Build an understanding of the core controls systems including managers control assessment and integrated corrective action plan system. Assist market risk reporting heads in executing risk governance models. Coordinate timely market risk monitoring and control processes inclusive of the annual risk assessment. Partner across control leads to determine best execution strategies to implement controls and monitoring. Perform audits, stress testing, and ad-hoc related queries. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Risk Analyst, or related position involving risk reporting and data analytics. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelors degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include: Conducting data analysis, cleaning, exploration and preparation; Building, editing and maintaining databases and queries; Report automation; Creating data visualizations; Tablaeu; and Microsoft Office suite.
