Full Job Description

Position Summary: Student Employees are eligible to work on campus in a part time capacity according to Ensign College Student Employment Policy. In addition to fulfilling this purpose, each employee continuously strives to bring about the mission of Ensign College, which is to develop capable and trusted disciples of Jesus Christ. Hours: 5-10 hours a week during semester and the starting wage for all student employees is $14.00 per hour with the possibility of $.25 rate increase each semester of continued work based on merit. Specific Summary of Duties: The Mailroom Operations Employee will receive, sort and distribute mail and packages throughout the Ensign College. They will also pick-up mail and packages from various locations on campus. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualification: Be currently enrolled as an Ensign College student in good standing and taking at least 6 credits. Prior experience in Customer services and/or technical support. Customer oriented providing exceptional customer service, friendly and able to perform all job functions. Ability to prioritize work. Ability to produce effective written correspondence through email and other written communication. Have the ability to communicate effectively in the English language, listen and respond appropriately. Highly self-motivated, hard worker, creative, and has a great attention to detail. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with the supervisor, team members, faculty, and staff. Ability to solve problems and ask for clarification as needed. Experience fixing computers. Proficient in Windows 10, Office 365, Canvas and experience using Mac OS.
