As a Project Manager, a typical day might include the following: Coordinating activities to meet project objectives. Working under general supervision to coordinate small projects and assist with medium- to large-scale projects. Creating and maintaining accurate project files and tracking records such as time reporting, financial records, schedules, budgets, and summary spreadsheets. Tracking, analyzing, and reporting accurate project measures such as expenditures vs. budget, progress vs. schedule, and quality-related metrics. Creating and delivering presentations on project status, cost, and schedule to management. Guiding the project team in following applicable processes and elevating process concerns when necessary. Driving consensus decisions among project stakeholders and team members. Identifying opportunities for improvement to project processes and assisting in implementing those improvements.
