As a Principal Coordinator, Security Operations Specialist, youll carry out day-to-day Security Operation Center activities. This position is responsible for incident intake, incident documentation, critical response communications, monitoring and responding to calls for service and information from security related technology systems. A Principal Coordinator will also be responsible for additional tasks consistent with their knowledge, skills and abilities. This includes activities such as ATM validations, database management and intelligence analysis and intelligence product development and delivery. This position works rotating shifts that may include weekends, holidays, evenings and overnight shifts. This role's hours are expected to be 3pm-11pm Tuesday-Saturday, but is subject to change with the needs of the business. Responsibilities: Respond to incoming security concerns and track outcomes. Monitor a wide network of security alarms and cameras to identify and resolve threats Synthesize large amounts of information quickly Create a comprehensive records of security-related incidents Coordination of routine and critical incident communications Understand the proper use of security related tools and procedures Escalate to supervisors when appropriate Implement security and access control procedures Basic Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience with customer service At least 1 year of security operations experience At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in the security field 1+ year of experience with emergency communication operations 1+ year of experience with situational awareness tools (ex: NC4, VCC) At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $62,500 - $71,300 for Prin Coord, Security Services Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
