Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure consistent cleaning of offices, public areas, and resident rooms. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of all resident and public areas to maintain our high standards of cleanliness. Specialized Planning: Schedule and oversee deep-cleaning programs, including annuals, move-in preparations, and carpet cleaning. Inventory & Budget: Monitor inventory levels, order equipment/supplies, and assist in monitoring the department budget. Safety & Compliance: Ensure staff is trained on the safe handling of chemicals (MSDS) and remains in full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/federal healthcare regulations. Hands-On Support: Lead by example by assisting staff with cleaning duties (floors, restrooms, resident apartments) as needed to ensure the job is done right. SNF Experience Required: Previous experience as an EVS or Housekeeping lead in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care environment is highly preferred. Leadership Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in supervision and staff scheduling. Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English; must be able to follow complex instructions and safety protocols. Problem Solving: Ability to handle practical problems and manage multiple variables in a fast-paced environment. Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
