Department Islands of Aotearoa Position Scope Provides cultural information through demonstrations and lectures, and teaches songs, dances, crafts, games and cultural phrases to guests. Learns how to create, maintain and/or do repairs of moderate difficulty on cultural artifacts, buildings, and props using a variety of equipment and materials. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the manager. Requirements Must be in good health and have a voice that can endure up to four hours of speaking in any given time frame Must be capable of moving freely among the guests and be capable of a full range of body movement. Must be able to communicate in English. Must know the basics of playing the ukulele. Must look Polynesian. Preferred Qualifications: Should be knowledgeable about the culture being represented. Should be able to speak the language of the culture being represented. Should be a high school graduate. No prior work experience necessary. Must attach resume and current semester's class schedule (weekly view format).
