Job Description Peterson Trucks has a need for a Casual Help worker at our Santa Rosa, CA location. The job is of limited duration and expected to last no longer than six (6) months. SUMMARY Responsible for general clean-up of the shop and yard. Assists parts, service, and sales departments as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign the functions to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Job functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Clean shop and yard as needed. Assist with set up and take down with special events. Assist in loading and unloading of trucks. Operate overhead cranes and other equipment. Follow all safety procedures. Take care of environmental concerns including wash rack and soil remediation. Miscellaneous duties as assigned. Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED, and good previous work record required. Experience in the safe operation of heavy and other miscellaneous equipment preferred. Experience operating a steam cleaning machine preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical work preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Ability to obtain lift truck certification. The pay range for this position is: $21.27 - 24.46 per hour. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
