Receptionist North Pointe Care Center Sacramento, CA Full-Time | MondayFriday, 7:00am3:30pm From $18/hr Limited-Term Position (JanuaryMay) | Training in December North Pointe Care Center is seeking a warm, reliable, and service-oriented Receptionist to support our front office team. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for residents, families, staff, and visitorsespecially those impacted by Alzheimers and dementia. Position Overview This is a limited-term, full-time role with training in December and active employment from January through May. As the first point of contact, you will represent the facility with positivity, patience, and respect. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist visitors, residents, and staff in a friendly and professional manner Answer and direct phone calls; manage front desk communication Provide supportive, calm, and patient interactionsespecially with Alzheimers and dementia residents and families Maintain visitor logs, deliver messages, and manage incoming/outgoing mail Support administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and basic data entry Coordinate with nursing and administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations Uphold facility policies, maintain confidentiality, and ensure a safe and welcoming lobby area What Were Looking For Strong customer service skills with a warm, approachable demeanor Reliable and punctualable to maintain the MF 7am3:30pm schedule Ability to communicate clearly and patiently, especially with residents with cognitive impairments Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred (healthcare setting ideal) Professional appearance and excellent multitasking ability Why Join North Pointe Care Center?
