Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Butler County Landfill. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring efficient waste management practices. This role is essential to our commitment to providing safe, environmentally sound, and high-quality waste management services. Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, scrapers, and compactors. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols and promote continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental practices. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide safe and environmentally responsible solutions to service issues. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment. Solid understanding of heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to equipment operation. Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety protocols.
