Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Responsibilities: GENERAL PURPOSE: Serves as a cornerstone for ensuring high-quality patient care delivery in an inpatient setting. By providing expert clinical guidance and fostering a culture of excellence, this position significantly impacts patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams, advocating for best practices and adherence to standards while promoting a nurturing environment for professional growth among nursing staff. The clinical resource nurse is an expert, and acts in a supporting role to assist all inpatients units in managing clinical, administrative, and emergency needs throughout the institution. Main responsibilities frequently include Code, Rapid Response, MERT, Sepsis, Difficult Airway, and Stroke Alerts; working with other hospital leadership to coordinate resources to manage operational issues; maintaining patient safety; achieving efficient throughput; assisting with patient bed management; providing clinical and critical thinking support to nurses delivering care in a variety of settings. The CRN acts as a liaison to maintain open lines of communication between providers, management, unit staff, ACC, and other CRN groups. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in nursing with specialty certification; demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and prioritization skills. Applicants must have at least 5 years of nursing experience, including 35 years of experience in a critical care setting. Leadership experience and specialty certification preferred.
