Work Shift: Swing Pay Type: Hourly Hourly Rate (if applicable): $26.50 Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable): N/A JOB OVERVIEW: The Powered Industrial Lift Operator operates a forklift and is responsible for the movement and high stacking of product as directed by supervising personnel. Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), policies, and safety procedures will be required in every aspect of this position. RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely and efficiently operate a lift truck moving product from one location to another in a high pace environment. Pulling, staging, and loading product as directed by the department lead or team leader. Completes daily pre-shift inspection checklist for assigned lift truck. Sets up pull-back driver loads and loading/unloading trucks. Utilizes barcode scanning equipment while performing job duties. Assists team members in the event of product spillage. Keeps work are clean according to Good Manufacturing Practices and proper safety procedures, which can include sweeping, and picking up debris from warehouse floor. High-stacking is expected on a routine basis. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by manager, supervisor/team lead, or department lead. WHAT YOU NEED *Minimum qualifications High school diploma or GED Forklift Certification General knowledge of routine maintenance and operation of a forklift Demonstrated ability to pass a high-stacking test Ability to lift minimum of 50lbs Ability to sit for a prolonged period of time At least 1-year industrial lift operating experience WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions.
