Economic Security Division Through our Economic Security Division, Denver Human Services seeks to engage residents in strengthening economic well-being and mobility across their lifespan. By leveraging the resources of Denver Human Services programs and a network of community partnerships, Economic Resilience provides a holistic approach to service delivery to assist customers in the ability to foresee crisis as well as adapt to and leverage changing life conditions to their advantage. The Economic Security Division is comprised of four program areas: SNAP to Success (Denvers name for Employment First), Child Care Assistance Program, and Colorado Works Workforce Development, and Child Support Services. The Economic Security Division is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant V (ASA V) to support the SNAP Employment & Training, called SNAP to Success, and Colorado Works Programs. The ASA V serves as an administrative lead worker for the Colorado Works Program, providing workflow coordination, work instruction, tracking and reporting data, and problem resolution, while supporting program operations across all programs through administrative functions. This role is a part of a team that is the initial point of contact for customers and internal partners, ensuring smooth, accurate, and traumainformed administrative operations. This position is aligned with the agencys Strategic Framework to support equity and access, connectivity and economic security of our customers and community partners. The candidate selected for this position will work with internal partners in Economic Security and DHS and will focus on the following areas: Lead Work & Workflow Coordination Apply Colorado Works Program regulations to ensure accurate and timely customer intake, workforce participation and program performance reporting Ensuring Colorado Works Program compliance, develop and modify work plans, methods, procedures, and work schedules to ensure adequate staff coverage and effective administrative workflow. Assign and distribute administrative work, review for accuracy and completeness, and provide recommendations for proper completion. Provide work instruction and assist staff with difficult or unusual assignments. Administrative & Program Support Serve on the team that is the initial point of contact for customers via phone, email, office locations, and community partner sites, using traumainformed customer service consistent with DHS values. Provide technical troubleshooting and systems support for staff using Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS), Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and other agency platforms, ensuring smooth administrative workflow and accurate information management. Provide resource navigation and scheduling assistance to customers while maintaining clear boundaries aligned with administrative responsibilities. Perform outreach to internal DHS programs and community partners to share program information and support customer engagement, including orientation and employability training events. Utilize multiple information systems to input data; create, edit, and maintain reports; and compile or retrieve files and databases. Act as an informational resource for the work unit by evaluating and applying jobrelated information to support staff and resolve issues. Resolve operational problems and questions and recommend consistent standards for ongoing problem resolution. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
