To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing As a member of CIBCs team, the Business Analyst - Lending & PM Tools is responsible for partnering with the business on process improvements, leading the technical development to deliver high quality processes and procedures while ensuring compliance with CIBC requirements standards, work practices, processes, security standards and policies. The Business Analyst uses independent judgement to provide guidance to project teams, applying a comprehensive, conceptual and practical understanding of the area of specialization to a wide range of business and technical situations while analyzing business performance. How you'll succeed Collaborate with product and development teams to design scalable product architectures that support CIBCs Loan Origination System (LOS) integrations. Translate business and regulatory requirements into detailed technical documentation, including LOS workflows, data mappings, API specifications, and system interaction models. Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, end-to-end process flows, and integration documentation to support loan origination and related banking services. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, compliance, and developers to ensure architectural decisions reflect business priorities and technical constraints. Analyze current LOS system capabilities to identify gaps, document architectural enhancements, and support implementation planning. Ensure all documentation related to LOS and product architecture are current, version-controlled, and easily accessible for internal teams and business partners. Support vendor evaluations and technical due diligence related to LOS enhancements or new implementations, ensuring alignment with CIBCs long-term architecture strategy. Establish and maintain KPIs, reports, and performance metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Loan Origination System (LOS) and related processes. Who you are You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field, and youve spent at least 3 years in a Business Analyst role leading projects and designing solutions. Its an asset if you have experience with Agile methodologies, and Application Development. This role has an expected salary range of $100,000K - $125,000K for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
