About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking to fill a Senior Analytics Consultant position that is critical to maintain ongoing support, administration, and development of enterprise business intelligence and reporting solutions. The role requires deep expertise in MicroStrategy, advanced SQL, data warehousing, and analytics tool and connectivity support to ensure the continued delivery of executive dashboards, KPI reporting, data quality processes, and production support. Additionally, experience with emerging analytics technologies, automation, and cloud-based solutions will help advance reporting capabilities and improve operational efficiency. In this role, you will: Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements Lead or participate on large cross group projects Mentor less experienced staff Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 1+ years of experience in BI and Analytics development, administration, and support. Experience in MicroStrategy/Strategy Architecture, Intelligence Server, Workstation, Library, Dossiers, Reports, and Dashboards. Experience designing and developing enterprise BI solutions using MicroStrategy/Strategy or other BI tools. Desired Qualifications: Experience designing and developing and end-user support of BI solutions using Strategy, Tableau, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot, Starburst, Dremio. REST API integrations and MicroStrategy/Strategy SDK experience. Python scripting for automation and analytics. Knowledge of data governance and data catalog solutions. Exposure to AI/ML analytics on GCP. Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools Proficient in creating attributes, facts, metrics, transformations, filters, prompts, custom groups, and consolidations. Strong understanding of metadata management and schema architecture. Experience with performance tuning and query optimization. Advanced SQL development and optimization skills. Experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, and performance-tuned reporting queries. Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema. Experience with BigQuery, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or Teradata. Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration frameworks. Experience validating data quality and implementing data reconciliation processes. Build and maintain executive dashboards, operational reports, and KPI scorecards. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality analytics solutions. User, group, and security administration within MicroStrategy. Manage object migration across DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments. Implement security filters and role-based access controls. Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
