Individuals interested in this position must be willing to learn and perform varied tasks and have the flexibility to work various shifts and schedules. The Material Handler is responsible for inventorying and restocking nursing PAR areas for medical-surgical and linen supplies, entering replenishment orders into the MMIS computer application, picking supplies, and making deliveries of varied types to customers. This position is responsible for use of manual and electric material handling equipment. Material Handler staff may be called upon to perform any one or more of these functions based on a particular job assignment. EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Previous pick, pack and shipping experience in either a distribution or retail environment. Customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
