Position Summary In your role as an Environmental Engineer, you'll be focused on environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, safety engineering, sustainability and stewardship, fire protection, and radiological health. You will engage with both internal employees and external personnel to ensure compliance with company, state and federal requirements. Role and Responsibilities Here's what you'll be responsible for: Manage all permit renewals and reporting requirements for the water program, including the wastewater discharge permit, stormwater permit, and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan. Ensure permit requirements are being met and understand and be able to communicate permit requirements to internal and external stakeholders. Work directly with permitting agencies (TCEQ, City of Austin, etc.) and stakeholders as required for special projects such as non-routine discharges. Provide oversight for contractors that perform duties for the water program and manage ongoing capital projects associated with the water program, including managing contractors and budgets. Perform incident investigations for leaks and spills that occur and develop corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance by reviewing and verifying material being brought on site is compliant. Participate in audits and ensure that the water program is compliant with regulatory and ISO standards. Lead annual iso140001 audit and recertification. Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: 3+ years of technical experience in environmental and regulatory compliance program management associated with water, wastewater, and stormwater, with a strong technical background in water and chemical processes. Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science or closely related field. Experience with other environmental media a plus, including chemicals management, solid waste, and air. Experience working in semiconductor industry. Experience conducting audits, P.E. license is a plus. The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
