Department: Electric & Computer Eng-LARRI Location: Belknap Campus Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Regular Job Req ID: R108756 Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 4 (Hourly) Position Description: The University of Louisville is seeking to hire a Department Coordinator IV that Performs full-time administrative duties in support of a major research center or university department, namely the Louisville Automation and Robotics Research Institute (LARRI). Tasks related to administrative support of the LARRI team include project management for Institute-related events, ordering supplies, interviewing and new employee training for students, managing social media. Also responsible for event management and financial tracking and reconciliation of the grants and accounts. Performs full-time administrative duties in support of a major research center or university department, namely the Louisville Automation and Robotics Research Institute (LARRI) and the Electrical and Computer Engineering department and is responsible for communication among research participants. This position is responsible for administrative support of the LARRI team including project management for Institute-related events, ordering supplies, interviewing and new employee training for students, managing social media. Also responsible for event management and financial tracking and reconciliation of the grants and accounts for the ECE department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ordering equipment and supplies for the team and managing Procard reconciliations. Managing the process of hiring and training of new team members, including students. Advise junior team members with skill acquisition, career and life choices. Organizing and facilitating research meetings and communication between participants, including UofL and other universities researchers, faculty, and students. Maintains, updates, and shares detailed meeting records and documents. Scheduling and hosting internal and external outreach events such as workshops and site visits. Organize the LARRI Open House events. Booking and managing travel arrangements for the team and visiting/potential faculty. Providing support of grant and account reconciliations with reporting to interested parties once a month regarding current and future state of each account/grant. Assisting academic department connected to LARRI with hiring duties, for example: Graders, Instructors, and work study students. Assisting academic department connected to LARRI with course scheduling duties. Interface with Speed School and University personnel to carry out duties as necessary. Assisting center personnel with reporting, fund-raising and proposal writing activities. Target Compensation Maximum: $32.17 Target Compensation Minimum: $21.45 Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
