Itron is seeking an R&D Technician to join our team in Liberty Lake, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing design validation testing, including test setup, execution, documentation, and reporting of results. Job Duties & Responsibilities Set up tests with guidance, including fixtures, wiring, electronic instruments, environmental chambers, and related equipment. Assist in characterizing test samples prior to testing. Execute tests, collect data, and report results accurately. Communicate any testing issues or anomalies to the team in a timely manner. Troubleshoot test failures to identify root causes. Participate actively in implementing and maintaining corrective actions and countermeasures. Required Skills & Experience Associate degree (2-year) in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field 2+ years of relevant work experience in a technical or lab environment Basic understanding of electrical circuits (e.g., Ohms Law) Strong troubleshooting skills Experience using electronic instruments such as DC power supplies, digital multimeters, and oscilloscopes Ability to work on-site in a lab setting Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
