Must be available April 15-20, 2026. Perks differ from seasonal and year-round employees. Perks include: $20 per hour. Work in a fun and supportive environment. Summary Join the Green Team at the 2026 RendezVan event and contribute to the Play Forever mission by supporting sustainable waste management efforts at Mt. Bachelor. As a Green Team member, you will be responsible for managing waste streams, ensuring proper sorting, educating guests, tracking data, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for event guests, staff, and vendors. Key Responsibilities Waste Management: Manage all recycling, composting, and landfill waste within the event footprint (West Village Base area, excluding lodges and buildings). Maintain guest-facing waste receptacles by ensuring they are clean and functioning properly. Transport waste from guest-facing receptacles to the sorting area or roll-off containers using a side-by-side vehicle. Sorting and Tracking: Monitor and educate guests on the proper disposal of waste in the correct stream: Landfill, Commingled Recycling, Glass, Cardboard, and Compost. Participate in waste sorting. Keep the sorting area organized, clean, and safe. Track and record the metrics of each waste stream as directed by the supervisor. Teamwork and Customer Interaction: Be kind and respectful to guests and staff, ensuring a positive experience for everyone at the event. Respectfully collaborate with Mt. Bachelor staff and adhere to resort policies and procedures. Interpersonal Contacts Guests, vendors, and other mountain departments. Requirements: Interest in environmental sustainability and waste management. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team setting. Must be available for pre-event orientation on April 7 and work at least 30 hours from April 15 to April 20 Must be physically able to lift, move, and sort waste materials up to 30 pounds.
