Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley Position Overview: Provides direct support to organizations and their employees through the delivery of assessment, consultation, education and triage services. Assist organizations in their appropriate handling of employee concerns and problems. Consults with employees and organizations on a variety of workplace and work-based issues. Provides clinical expertise to restore employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning. Provides in the moment therapeutic support, crisis counseling and suicide intervention. Provides employee and management consultation related to specific personal problems and workplace/management problems and concerns, onsite critical incident response services, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) assessment and referral, onsite EAP orientations, workshops, and health and wellness trainings. Job Description: Candidate must live a commutable distance from the Sacramento Office and be available to come on site for work. This is NOT a remote role. EDUCATION: Master's in Social Work/Services, Mental Health, Psychology or related field CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR LMFT-Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR LPCC Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 2 years recent relevant experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Clinical training must include instruction on chemical dependency, mental health and brief therapy. Must understand workplace issues, how businesses function and a fundamental understanding of employee/ employer relationships. Must be able to provide accurate client assessment including level of risk, substance abuse and dependency, job performance issues and refer to appropriate level of care. Competent in crisis intervention Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in solution-focused and brief therapeutic support. Strong customer service skills required. Excellent training and listening skills. Ability to interact effectively at all levels both within the company and with external customers. Adjusts well to new situations and changing priorities. Comfortable with ambiguity and stress while handling a variety of assignments. Maintains a positive, achievement-oriented attitude and is consistent in accomplishing expected objectives. Knowledge of the continuum of care in behavioral/mental health. Broad knowledge of community mental health services and related resources. Demonstrates well-honed clinical assessment skills. Knowledge and skills in a range of intervention techniques and familiarity with Critical Incident Response and/or psychological first aid training. Knowledge of workforce and workplace issues impacting employees. Organization skills and attention to details. Ability to communicate through verbal and written means. Demonstrates telephone interviewing skills and the ability to build rapport and conduct training. Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties. Demonstrates respect for cultural and linguistic differences and promotes an inclusive work environment. Ability to maintain and work discreetly with confidential and sensitive information. Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the roles duties and responsibilities. Pay Range is $105,726.40 to $142,708.80 / annual salary. Part Time 24 hours a week Pay Range is $68,864.00 to $103,297.00 / annual salary. The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidates experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Healths comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
