Expected salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 depending on experience. Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Los Angeles, CA office. Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent DESCRIPTION: As a Senior Project Engineer at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on L.A. Metro Purple Line 2/3 Extension projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Track, review and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Owner Payment Applications and, if applicable, claims Monitor job costs, maintain accurate reports and assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing quantity reports, analyzing the labor costs and completing quarterly profit project records Manage the preparation and executing of the Project closeout process Research and propose solutions to quality control issues Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications Provide support to the project leadership as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field is required; Minimum ten (10) years of construction industry experience Field Engineer experience preferred. Electrical contractor experience is a plus. Traffic / Street Lighting experience is a plus. Must understand fundamentals of contracting and have familiarity with large scale mass transit / transportation projects. Must be organized with the ability to manage a system or discipline. Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities is vital. Superior communication and interpersonal skills such as tact, diplomacy, influence, etc. are essential. Must be a business-oriented person.
