Full Job Description

Responsible for performing the Bank's field review process including verifying the existence and eligibility of loans pledged to the Bank as collateral in accordance with Bank and regulatory guidelines. Accountabilities: Responsibilities/Duties/Function/Tasks: Performs Member Collateral Verifications (MCVs) on depository members with guidance as necessary depending on the complexity of the review in accordance with departmental processes, procedures, and controls. Assists depository members and/or Relationship Managers with questions and/or concerns regarding pledged loan collateral or other Bank matters. Assist on special projects affecting departmental objectives and/or Bank strategic initiatives. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business or finance or equivalent work experience; business law and/or real estate law course work is a plus. Knowledge of real-estate backed loans, including underwriting and documentation standards, valuation methodologies, loan servicing and monitoring practices. Knowledge of business loans a plus. 3-5 years in mortgage/banking industry in a role such as underwriter or loan originator with knowledge of single-family residential loans and documentation. Experience with commercial real estate and business loans a plus. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels within a financial institution. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with software interface techniques a plus. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a group setting. Valid drivers license and excellent driving record. Compensation Range: Annual Salary: $75,781.00 - $84,697.00 This salary range represents the Banks good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Banks annual incentive plan.
