Summary The Construction Site Logistics Specialist will manage the inbound and outbound traffic flow to a large construction site to ensure timely and safe entry/exit by troubleshooting gate entry issues and escalating to onsite leadership. This individual will also communicate directly with onsite personnel and assist in preventing congestion by enforcing the onsite entry procedures. This position will be onsite in Rayville, LA. The work schedule would consist of 4 twelve-hour days on followed by 3 days off. Various days/shifts are available. Starting salary would be 45-50K per year. Summary As part of the Ryder team, the Construction Site Logistics Specialist will handle a variety of tasks including but not limited to: Essential Functions Manage inbound/outbound traffic flow to ensure timely and safe entry/exit of trucks. Troubleshooting gate entry issues and escalating as needed to on-site leadership. Communicate with site personnel and help prevent congestion by enforcing site entry procedures Customer Interfacing: Active communications (electronic/personal) with internal and external customers on operational issues to insure all items are addressed in a timely manner Proved support for peers and subordinates' key operational decisions and non-typical requests to support customers business needs Manage a variety of account specific and site wide tactical and strategic projects. Performs other duties as assigned.
