Job Classification: Investment Management - Investment Operations The Separate Accounts Operations department, a division of Enabling Solutions, is responsible for daily operations such as cash trading, product pricing, and performance reporting supporting the individual life and annuity separate accounts. In addition, the department oversees the production of monthly reports, investment accounting, and the operational relationships with various fund managers. The current EWA for this position is Hybrid (Newark) and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows: Participate in systems testing for new marketing initiatives (such as new product or fund additions) as they relate to our Pricing and Trading processes. This includes checking the setup of new codes on our UVT System, verifying inbound and outbound test feeds, and performing mock operational cycles. System maintenance such as performing unit value corrections and updating funds due to name changes. Price and Trade processes oversight. Monitor pricing and trading activity to ensure accurate execution of the processes. Research and resolve issues to ensure unit values are correct and Separate Account assets are aligned with Contract Holder Liabilities. Confirm trades, cash settlements, and complete daily reconciliations Perform month-end close responsibilities. This entails ensuring the production and accuracy of all reports, preparing proofs and reconciliations, and distributing asset and contract holder activity information to our internal customers. Perform year-end close responsibilities. Participate in various projects related to process efficiencies and improvements. Various ad-hoc requests for data residing in our UVT System. Maintain contacts and relationships with various fund managers to facilitate the successful execution of daily operations. Support of audit inquiries from Internal Audit, PwC, and D&T on operational tasks and responsibilities. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a business curriculum, such as Accounting, Finance, etc. required Must be able to perform both financial reporting and operations roles Proficient with Microsoft Excel - prior experience with Macros and Lookups is desired Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal, communication, and partnering skills Self-motivated, innovative, and proactive Overtime is required during peak reporting periods and for operations related initiatives or issues Additional Information: This position will work virtually on occasion, therefore new hires must be able to provide the following: Subscribe to internet service provider plan with at least 25 Mbps download speeds. You must be willing to troubleshoot any issues or outages with your home internet service, contacting your service provider as necessary. Wired Ethernet (connected into router or Wi-Fi extender or MESH), NOT connecting computer over Wi-Fi. Use of USB wired headset with a noise cancellation feature (required for all CSPs, optimal for all other roles) Must have the capability to handle calls with a cell phone (would need to have unlimited data and minutes) or a landline. Your personal phone number will not be identified to customers. Quiet area in your home with minimal distractions and noise free. The salary range for this role is from $51,200.00 to $76,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
