Job Title: Logistics Technician I - 1st Shift Reporting To: Leader, Performance Work Schedule: Onsite Buffalo, NY Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Logistic Technician I to join them. You will report to the Performance Leader and will have an onsite, 2nd shift work schedule in East Aurora, New York. To be considered for this role, heres what youll need to bring with you: High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. A background in shipping and receiving is preferred. As a Logistic Technician I you will: Perform physical and transactional process-based operations supporting production, repair, development and non-production requirements of the business including: Material delivery Floor stock replenishment Kit pull Material stocking Shipping/ Receiving Packaging Drive/Transportation Inventory Management Develop working knowledge of several software applications including: Internal business systems Customer shipping portals Third-party shipping portals Transportation management systems Operate equipment such as fork trucks, manual and motorized pallet jacks, pallet lifters, power and hand tools, and motor vehicles or other devices as defined by the team. Routinely expected to unload packages throughout the building. Packages may be up to 50 lbs. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
