Building Name: UVMMC - Medical Center - Main Campus Location Address: 111 Colchester Avenue, Burlington Vermont Regular Department: Cardiothoracic - Miller 3 Full Time Standard Hours: 36 Biweekly Scheduled Hours: 72 Shift: Day/Eve Primary Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Weekend Needs: Every Other Salary Range: Min $22.93 Mid $28.19 Max $33.44 Recruiter: Elke Janeway JOB DESCRIPTION: The Unit Assistant is a multi-skilled position that combines elements from both the Licensed Nursing Assistant and the Unit Secretary, and is responsible for specific aspects of direct/indirect care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, and for the secretarial aspects of the nursing unit. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Nursing Assistant licensure from the State of Vermont. EXPERIENCE: Previous health care experience preferred.
