Company Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis NOTE - This position is for current high school students only. The Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis has an internship opportunity for a high school student with a strong interest in economics. Applications are invited from students who have completed or will complete economics coursework. The high school internship is intended to provide students exposure to the field of economics. Additionally, it will help students acquire technical skills and economics research training that will prepare them to pursue post-high school studies in economics. The selected student will work with a research economist in the Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, who will act as a supervisor and mentor. Candidates who have completed or intend to complete economics coursework and candidates who can demonstrate work in progress towards a high school diploma. What will you be doing? The intern will assist the research economist with a broad range of tasks, including statistical analysis, literature reviews, library research, and data entry. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about ongoing economic research at the Bank by talking with economists and attending Research Department seminars.
