The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates knowledge, skills, and abilities. Job Description The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is proud to offer paid summer internships for Photojournalism interns. These internships provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced, modern newsroom serving audiences across Atlanta, Georgia, and the South. This intern will contribute to daily assignments, features, and enterprise storytelling while learning professional newsroom visual workflows. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about photography, storytelling, and journalistic integrity. What Youll Do Capture and edit photo assignments for digital and print Support visual storytelling projects Write basic captions and metadata Collaborate with reporters and editors Learn professional newsroom visual workflows Qualifications Photojournalism experience required Strong visual eye and journalistic integrity Passion for photography and storytelling Understanding of composition and framing Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other editing tools (Photo Mechanic, Lightroom, etc.) Basic caption writing skills Knowledge of AP style Familiarity with Canon equipment preferred Dont miss out on the first steps toward your future.
