The Opportunity: Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Analog Hardware Engineer position located at our headquarters in Pullman, Washington. Analog Hardware Engineer (Multiple Openings) Responsibilities: The Analog Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and analyze analog and digital electronic circuits. The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical and computer engineering and: (1) manage hardware projects of moderate complexity; (2) design, implement, document, and develop the specifications for all hardware used in product development; (3) demonstrate and document product and circuit robustness using computer simulations, conventional analysis, and standard testing methodologies; (4) write and analyze test plans, conduct design tests, and evaluate test results; (5) conduct hardware design reviews; (6) prepare and maintain product documentation, bills of material, project notebooks and instructions manuals; (7) provide product cost estimates, basic labor estimates, and project plans; (8) coordinate engineering activities with purchasing and manufacturing; (9) undertake improvements of company research and development initiatives; and (10) participate in industry meetings, seminars, and conferences to keep technical proficiency sharp. Salary Range: $83,700.00 - $89,700.00 per year.
