Location: This position is located in Maple Grove, MN, 5 days a week onsite. Whats the role? This position is the primary Quality role for the IQS PC production in the US, responsible to execute and control continuous quality improvements throughout production. Under the direction of the Quality Manager and support from the Production Manager this position will lead the Operative Quality Management by providing broad-based support for all key Quality activities and initiatives. This includes complaint Management, defect analysis, product auditing, continuous Improvement projects, and compliance with all specifications, process, and operational procedures. Sound Interesting? Heres what youll do: Create/track/evaluate complaints (Customers, internal, Cross Company and suppliers). This position also supports the outbound team by actively leading and improving CPO scores and consequently sub factors leading to it. Perform/initiate/track projects to internally improve quality, like FPY, rework reduction, improving non quality expenses Control the replacement/reworking of defective parts in production. Propose guidelines for reworking and seeking approval from global engineering for new and altered procedures. Review performance of initial sampling of measuring machines (also corporate) and supporting production with continuous improvement. Metrological material qualifications driven by production and development. Responsible for supporting and /or driving new material implementation, machine transfers etc. Measurement comparison with suppliers and other production facilities. Perform series tests in incoming goods (also corporate) and evaluate series quality deviations. Addresses quality deviations with the Quality Group and production management via PDCA / A3, QRQC. Maintains internal risk assessments and action plans to continuously improve the quality of processes and products (CMM machines, etc.) Perform Warehouse checks (also corporate). Evaluate and estimate potential risks and give regular feedback to production management and local / global Quality Management. Supporting in Lean events to improve and harmonize the workflow in accordance with global production requirements. Do you qualify? Bachelor or technical degree in technology discipline or equivalent Industry experience. Must have knowledge of the ISO 9001. Must have experience with Quality Tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why SPC, Minitab). Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus. Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience working in the manufacturing industry is required. English speaking and writing is required, other languages like German or Spanish is a plus. Strong analytical skills. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint Presentation). Must be able to communicate internally at all levels. Must be able to communicate externally with the customer. Must be a self-motivated individual with good organizational skills that can prioritize work depending on importance. The annual pay range for this position is $90,000 $112,000. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
