Building Name: UVMMC - In State Remote Worker Location Address: 111 Colchester Ave., Burlington Vermont Regular Department: VTEHDI/DHHDB Educ Svc Prog Full Time Standard Hours: 36 Biweekly Scheduled Hours: 72 Shift: Day-8-10Hr Primary Shift: 8:00 AM - 3:30 AM Weekend Needs: None Salary Range: Min $29.87 Mid $37.34 Max $44.81 Recruiter: Kate Davies JOB DESCRIPTION An individual in this position shall observe, consult with, and assist special and regular education staff as they adapt classroom instructional strategies to accommodate students with varying degrees of hearing loss. The TOD shall also provide direct instruction and serve as a liaison between the school and various community agencies and professionals that provide services to deaf and hard of hearing children and their families. EDUCATION Educational requirements - Masters degree Professional requirements - Licensed in the state of Vermont as a teacher, with specialized training in working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing (Special Education, TOD endorsement or provisional endorsement).
