Flight Readiness Technician Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is seeking Experienced Flight Readiness Technician Inspectors (FRTI Level C) to support the Flight Line and Delivery Activity in San Antonio, Texas on variable shifts! Position Responsibilities: Performs verification, inspection of flight component installation, operational functional testing of aircraft systems and provides objective evidence of inspection results. Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection and create non-conformance documents with minimal assistance. Plans, schedules and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead. Perform conformity inspections on aircraft structures, systems, and components. Support audits, investigations, and ensure compliance to engineering specifications and FAA regulations Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job. Segregates and controls non-conforming items Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Must be able to work any shift including days, nights and weekends 1+ years experience in the aerospace industry 1+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or conformity inspection Ability to read, understand, and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications Understanding of FAA regulations and conformity processes Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required. 1+ years of experience working with Velocity or other production applications 1+ years of 787 Program Experience Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications Proficient in all forms of NCR (Non-Conformance Record) and EPD (Emergent Process Document) generation (NC/NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR/PU or RGEN Revision etc.) Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 3+ year of flight line operations experience Previous conformity and certification or ODA 8130-9 experience Shift: This position is variable shift (4th shift), meaning you will be placed on a shift at time of hire based on business needs.
