Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates. Primary Accountabilities Defines the scope and strategy for medium to high complexity sourcing events. Identify sourcing opportunities based on spend, value opportunity, risk and resource availability. Present proposed goals, strategy and project plan to partners and sponsors, obtains approvals and aligns sponsorship and resources needed to move project into active execution. Lead teams to successful outcomes. Develops contract terms and conditions by negotiating with suppliers, involving internal subject matter experts, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes while supporting overall our goals. Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned supplier contracts. Assure compliance with contract approval process and adherence to contract standards. Support partners in contract management from award to completion or termination. Markets the value of strategic sourcing to management and internal customers. Provide reporting to department leaders to help them understand spend, sourcing project activity, risks, opportunities and results. Establishes, develops productive senior business leader relationships with assigned departments to understand their goals and sourcing needs. Be the main contact to assigned departments for sourcing needs. Use knowledge of department's operations and goals to determine all sourcing requirements. Leads the entire sourcing process for RFxs, renewals, new contracts and oversees the project management process (e.g. scope, time, communication, risk mitigation, change management). Identify opportunities for process improvements and improved services for partners. Uses knowledge of department operations, market intelligence and defined sourcing goals to help evaluate complex competitive offerings and determine best overall offer for a product or service. Compares supplier bids across financial parameters and identifies expected timing of savings/value cash flows. Assess qualitative trade-offs between the different supplier proposals. Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements Demonstrated experience providing customer-oriented solutions or service. Knowledge of sourcing practices including RFxs, contract negotiation, market intelligence. Understanding of supplier performance management techniques. Solid knowledge employing advanced end-to-end strategic sourcing processes, practices and tools to large spend categories. Demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects. Solid knowledge of contract negotiation techniques. Solid knowledge of project management practices. Solid understanding of goods and services contract terms. Understanding of preparing reports, charts and presentations. Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools. Travel Requirements Up to 10%. Physical Requirements Work that involves sitting/standing. We will expect you to work 10 days per month from the office.
