About The Opportunity The Shipping/Receiving Clerk ensures that raw material (stock), and finished goods are received, stored and/or shipped to plant for use. Shift: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM Pay: Starting at $19.00/hour Safety First: Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Inventory Accuracy: Verify stock against purchase orders (type, quantity, weight). ERP Management: Receive raw materials and cases into ERP; assign material and location numbers. Material Handling: Move materials to designated locations and follow FIFO procedures. Packaging: Band and wrap open raw materials. Receiving: Handle outside service orders and miscellaneous items. Truck Operations: Load/unload trucks using Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean dock area and workspaces. Space Optimization: Rearrange raw material areas as needed. Team Support: Provide backup to Shipping Lead when required. Equipment Care: Perform pre-shift PIT inspections and keep equipment clean. Inventory Control: Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts. System Knowledge: Understand warehouse inventory and future barcoding systems. Communication: Use department systems for schedules, timekeeping, and job reporting. Lean Initiatives: Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
