Quality Manager R38578 Responsible for management of the product quality in operation areas. Responsible for effective implementation of the quality system. Work closely with all company departments and processes to ensure continuity in Company quality objectives. Support operations by providing the necessary procedures, practices, and information to assure that quality objectives are met, optimizing company performances and customer satisfaction. YOUR IMPACT Coordinate all product quality activities at all Pierce facilities to ensure customer expectations are met. Direct and manage the implementation of the quality system. Develop systems to provide consistent testing to meet company objectives and improve customer satisfaction. Coordinate statistical methods used in manufacturing and operation processes. Lead and innovate new concepts in statistical usage. Helps determine the adequacy and accuracy of quality standards. Where standards are not available, coordinate their development. Manages the adequacy of inspection and test equipment, and acts as coordinator for the purchase and justification of complex and/or high cost equipment used for product evaluations. Supervise and promote quality activities in manufacturing and operation functions to assure that Company objectives are met. Assures that new product reviews are performed on all new major products. Coordinates product problem resolution relative to design, specifications, tooling, materials, methods and production operations. Follows up and monitors product and process improvement plans and projects to see that they are adequate and complete. Works with Purchasing on development and execution of Quality Supplier Program. Manage the Warranty Program to ensure quality concerns are addressed and dealer/customer satisfaction is achieved. Manage Quality Supervisors to establish a quality plan, if applicable. Establish a quality plan and facilitate the goals and direction via Pierces management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in a technical field 4-plus years of relevant experience STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS Training and/or experience with Six-Sigma problem solving methodology Previous experience with CAD system(s) Good understanding of processes and process flows Ability to work in a team environment with various skill sets within the organization Self-starter able to drive a sense of urgency WHY PIERCE? Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
