Job Description: MPS is looking for an experienced, driven and winning-attitude professional to drive the definition and development of High Power/High Voltage products for Automotive, Server Power, and Industrial markets as a Senior Applications Engineer. Responsibilities include defining analog IC and module products, modeling EMI, developing and debugging reference circuits and IC prototype, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing application support and technical training. Essential Functions: Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define analog IC products in high power, isolated, and wideband gap solutions Modeling EMI and design EMI reduction techniques and solutions Work with customer and field application team to provide support on total high power sub-system solutions. Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products. Qualifications/ Requirements: 5+ years of hand-on experience in automotive switch mode power supply designs and EMI modeling. Self-motivated and can-do attitude. Fluent communication skills in English. Mandarin is a plus. Excellent writing and presentation skills Prior experience in supporting or defining high power IC or modeling high power IC related EMI is preferred. Education: BSEE or higher required Location: San Jose, CA MPS offers a comprehensive benefits package.
